July 11, 2004: I am just looking at my mail - I got a letter from the Westchester County Dept. of Social Services, in regard to the letter that I sent to Andy Spano, where I suggester bringing people together to the table with expertise in protecting children.

Andy Spano had the same thought and asked The Child Welfare League of America to look into an independent review into the Westchester County Dept of Social Services Child Welfare Division. Nancy Travers, First Deputy Commissioner of the Dept of Social Services thanked me for my interests in services to the children. I feel good for having my idea looked at & sent a letter thanking me for my interests in fighting for children. I feel good about that & that people give my ideas the respect that they deserve.
