The Governor's office is pushing strongly towards legalizing casinos throughout the state. Should the legislature approve casino gambling throughout the state, Westchester County would surely want one. Where would it go? Glen Island in New Rochelle? Tarrytown? The Yonkers waterfront? Or, perhaps even at a hotel about to be built in White Plains? Would the city consider placing a casino-hotel-convention center at Mamaroneck and Main? Would developers consider a casino-hotel-convention palace at the head of M & M? A pipe dream? How does Mr. and Mrs. White Plains feel about casinos? (It could be called the Quarropus Moon.
