More Comment on Journalism Standards. Posted on Monday, November 15 @ 16:31:24 EST by jfbailey

Toast of the Town! WPCNR WHITE PLAINS VOICE. November 15, 2004: A reader who has taken issue with WPCNR columns in the past, gives his feedback on the fourth estate, suggesting all sign their names to comments sent the CitizeNetReporter:

Dear Mr. Bailey,

I compliment you on publishing your readers' insults, attacks, judgements and criticisms on your credibilty or lack of credibilty as a journalist or legitimate reporter here on your website.

Heck we can all find fault with you and with every other journalist and news media medium across the country. You're not perfect and perhaps your coverage,  spelling and grammar at times may not be to pinpoint perfection and accuracy, but you at least have the dignity and integrity to have your self criticized and judged by those who apparently consider themselves to be the powers  and self-gift to the world.

Judging you, insulting you and condemning you for being part of the human race making at least a positive contribution.  Effecting and impacting our understanding and thoughts on the many subjects you report on and present to us as the public. Information we all enjoy and appreciate.

I personally have one major criticism of you and it is one many others share with me. That is, you allow such cowards and trash the opportunity for such self degrading personal exposure to express themselves for who and what they are as inferior human beings not taking credit for the person they truly are for not publically identifiyng themselves and placing their names on the words they write for all of us to pass judgement on them and know exactly who they are!

Cowards! Cowards! Cowards!

Stop protecting the slime, John and expose your enemies as well as your allies and make it a standard for all to sign off on their thoughts!

Self dignity and respect is a quality you earn, cowardness is something you have to live with!
