Dear John,
Let’s be a little level headed here for once. If you had two jobs, one that paid you twice as much as the other, which job would you be more loyal to?
Westchester County is constantly disregarding the citizens of White Plains and their representatives. The Common Council was never asked about the shelter at 85 Court Street. The Council and the Mayor have publicly asked for a meeting between cities yet the county has not granted that to them.
I could see Dennis attempting to push the issue under the rug and quiet down his fellow Council members so the county could get its way. He isn’t the man for this job. It was very obvious when he didn’t get the vote for Mayor! If he wants the seat, he should run for it.

WPCNR Notes Mr. Power has been nominated to run in the special election in November to fill the 2007 portion of the deceased Robert Greer's term, so in essence he will run for it.
